Is a virus usually deadlier when it comes back? Is this the case with H1N1? Is it likely to be mutated?

There is no evidence that the H1N1 virus is any more deadly than any other particular strain. If H1N1 influenza virus does start circulating again in the UK there may indeed be more deaths as a result. This would likely be the case with any strain of Influenza virus and is not unique or likely to be an increased risk with Influenza H1N1.
