How many doses will I need?/Will I need the swine flu vaccine as well?
Most people will only require one dose of the seasonal flu vaccine each year. This year's seasonal flu vaccine protects against swine flu so most people will not need the swine flu vaccine as well. Some people including those with compromised immune systems may need two doses of seasonal flu and a few people will also be offered the H1N1 single vaccine as well. However your GP will be able to advise you on how many doses you will need.
