The Nurse can look up where you live on the local databases and information systems on their computers. This information covers all of Scotland so they can see straight away what services are near you.

Plus, NHS 24 has local centres in Ayrshire & Arran, Dumfries & Galloway, Highland, Lanarkshire, and Tayside. These centres are staffed by experienced, trained nurses who live and work in those areas, so they know where you’re coming from.   This means that as well as ensuring that there are enough people to answer your call, there are plenty of people in the team who understand the area you live in and can supply all the information we need to offer you the best service possible.
