Will I be told to go and see a Pharmacist?
You might be, yes. Pharmacists (chemists) are the first port of call for the treatment of many minor ailments and they can also make emergency supplies of certain prescription medicines in certain circumstances.
You can go straight to your nearest pharmacy (chemist) if you need help with either of these things. You don't have to call NHS 24 first.
