Strategic Framework 2009-10 to 2011-12
“Delivering and Moving Forward”

“Delivering and Moving Forward” sets out our Strategic Framework for 2009/10-2011/12 as we continue to strengthen and develop our role in delivering healthcare services to meet the needs of the people across Scotland. We have developed this Framework through discussions with our staff, with our partners such as Health Boards, the Scottish Ambulance Service, local Out of Hours services, the voluntary sector, and the public across the country.

With this support, NHS 24 now has a clear set of aims and objectives for 2009/10 to 2011/12. We will be measuring and monitoring the implementation of each objective through our Corporate Plan. 

Recently a full review of the strategy took place in spring 2010 to ensure that it continues to reflect the needs of all our stakeholders. The outcomes of this review have been incorporated into the strategy and the updated version is now available below. We would like to thank all of the participants who attended the stakeholder event in March this year for there contribution.

SCT Strategy

Below please find The Scottish Centre for Telehealth’s Strategic Framework. This Strategic Framework document sets out a programme for the delivery of key telehealth activities for the next two years with strong synergies between both strategies in developing and delivering a range of telehealth services to the people of Scotland.

Mental Health Strategic Framework

A mental health strategy has been developed which reflects all mental health services offered by NHS 24 ranging from crisis intervention to self help and support. For further information about this strategy contact NHS24 Mental Health Lead Dr Stella Clark on stellaanne.clark@nhs.net.
